How long should bunting be?

This is probably not a question you will have thought about when you come to buy your bunting. When we ask the question of "How long would you like your bunting?" A common answer is "A standard length". In truth there is no standard length of bunting. Our most popular lengths of bunting are 5 and 10 metres.

Although it may not be your first thought, it is quite an important one. If you're covering a big area then you will want a longer length such as 30 metres as if you purchase 6 lots of 5 metres you will end up having to tie the ends together which can look messy and you will get uneven pennant spacing. It is also a bit of a nightmare to untie them once your event is finished!

Sometimes the temptation is to buy a huge length of bunting to avoid tying too many together, we have had requests to go up to a 100 metre length. Although this is possible, we strongly recommend against it as it is very very heavy and difficult to handle. Imagine having to wrap up 100 metres of bunting after your event has finished.

In short, if you are struggling with deciding how long your bunting should be then please give us a call or email sales@bunting-warehouse.co.uk and one of our knowledgeable bunting advisors will point you in the right direction.
